Ingredients:
- Peat – the main component, is neutralized with dolomite meal and mixed with organic fertilizers.
- Compost – vegetable garden soil produced by Matogard OÜ contains the plant nutrient-rich compost resulting from the biotechnological treatment of horse manure that ensures a suitable microbial mix for plants.
- Organic fertilizers – natural fertilizers, together with the compost help to maintain the right balance of nutrients for healthy plant growth. Fertilizers are certified organic production.
- Humic substance – encourages strong root development and improves the activity of soil micro flora. It contributes to the supply of plants with nutrients. Being of natural origin, humic substances help the plant to resist growth-related stress, which is due to unfavourable growing conditions.
- Clay – binds water and prevents the soil from drying out.
Soil Characteristics: Capacity/mass <0,7kg/l; Acidity (pH KCl) 5,6-6,5; Salts content 1,2-2,0 g/l
Recommendations:
- The vegetable garden soil produced by Matogard consists of compost, organic fertilizers and humic substances to prevent nutrients from being washed out of the soil by water.
- As for herbs and other vegetables with a shorter growing season, there is no need for additional fertilizing during the growing season.
- The vegetables with a longer growing season exhibit more intensive growth (such as tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) and need additional fertilization during fruit formation and ripening.
